I really hope this is a permanent fixture, and I think it'll be great for the station. The majority of the people who complained about Brand before didn't even hear the show in question, or probably even know who he is - or understood his English!

Bravo TalkSport, you've just gained thousands of new listeners!

For those who don't like him, switch to another station for 2 hours, or sit back and open your mind to the revolution! ;-)

It would be fab if Andrew Sachs could come on and talk of his life long love of Barcelona!
By the way; this is an absolute masterstroke pairing these two guys up again - well done Talk Sport, now all you have to do is lose Cundy and Irani

oh, get over your self. i know a world of people who are thrilled at the prospect of russell getting back on the radio, there's been a void in the airwaves since last october (and that's coming from someone who lives over seas). aside from that, there are NO two funnier duo on the radio than Gallagher and Brand. its a great match. my only concern is, as much as i love sports i donno how much of it i can listen to, and that has nothing to do with being a woman. i just got used to not knowing what russell would discuss on radio 2, but he knows how to cover all the bases and keep someone entertained. but now, its kinda laid out for him....which is fine. Brand & Gallagher on the radio -together again. that'll keep me content.

Brand & Gallagher ! What a coup, the radio revolution and revalation starts here ! This can only be a great thing full of razor sharp wit and a smattering of danger, maybe ? I look forward to the show I believe this will be great entertainment. Not everyone will be enamoured at the fact. Never mind, you can't please everyone all the time.

A great addition to the line up. As a previous Podcast listener of the Russell Brand BBC show i am eagerly awaiting the rebirth of the revolution. Having Noel as a regular studion presenter is clearly a Masterplan on the behalf of Talk Sport.
One silly football story to give you:
I am a PE teacher in charge of a Sixth Form Colleges Football team. Around three years ago i gave the full half time chat to the lads using the whole John Barnes rap from World in Motion. I went round picking players out telling them to 'hold and give, but do it at the right time' etc They didnt suspect a thing and we went on to win the game.
